Theclaimsofgames place

Join this community and help to create a database for research on games for learning. Each claim about what games affords for learning is a hypothesis for a study. Lets collect, list, and categorize claims that have been made about learning from games. Lets study these claims in appropriate settings, with appropriate samples while focusing on game genre and content. We need assessment and good research. Introduction

What is a place? It is a virtual space on the Internet that you can share with your friends and colleagues (coworkers) by invitation. You can create pages in this place. Although a Netcipia place is based on a wiki, it also features a blog that enables you to easily publish daily or weekly information about your place. A place can also be divided into several spaces. A space is a collection of pages grouped under a same label. Why should you create spaces inside a place? For two main reasons: to better organize your information and also because it enables you to assign different user rights to each space.

Tips

Before proceeding to your place, please take a few minutes to read these basic tips:

  • Although Netcipia is optimized for FireFox, Internet Explorer (IE) 6 and IE 7 beta 3 or RC1 are also supported.
  • To change your password, go to your profile (link at the top of the page), and click on edit.
  • To create a page, either:
    • Type the name of the page in the corresponding field in the right column, and fill in the content of the page.
